“What’s wrong with me? I just can’t seem to get it together!”
Do you dread waking up in the morning or find it hard to care? You’ve tried everything, but nothing seems to be working. It feels like Groundhog’s Day every day!
The world is kinda crazy right now, and almost everyone feels it.
It’s easy to become overwhelmed and anxious. That anxiousness might make you start snapping at your kids or being less productive at work.
Group Coping Skills can help.
Groups can provide a quick and easy way to learn skills to handle better the stress we face daily.
These group meetings are NOT therapy sessions. Every week, you learn and practice new skills.
We’re NOT getting into anything personal. If you’re already in individual therapy with me, save those sessions to work through the personal stuff. Doing the groups and the therapy sessions together gets you there faster.
You will learn the following skills: Breathing skills; Mindfulness; Meditation; Visualization exercises; Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Reframing negativity; Gaining holistic balance; Relaxation skills; and much more.
Everyone is a good candidate for this group!
We’re all busy running helter-skelter, trying to get through our lives.
Learning these coping skills will bring more peace and balance to your daily life. Who doesn’t need that?
I LOVE teaching these coping skills. It allows me to practice the skills and remind myself how effective they are! Because even I fall off the wagon!
