Therapy is an active process.
You’re not going to get there lying on the couch!
Most people participate in therapy one hour once a week (1 out of 168 hours).
I do not have a magic wand that I wave around during the hour that will “fix” you. On the contrary, outside that hour, most of the work is done by YOU, the client. YOUR progress is dependent on your level of motivation and commitment.
Living in a mentally healthy manner is a lifestyle, requiring work on a daily basis.
Venting is not therapy.
Venting does not bring about change. 🙁
While venting is occasionally necessary, this is not what therapy looks like on an ongoing basis.
Simply talking about change does not make it happen. You’re not paying all this money for an expensive complaint session! Before you launch, we need to examine your thoughts and behaviors and update them for version 2.0.

Change is scary!
Most people avoid change like the plague.
At heart, we’d like to live nestled in our comfort zones. However, growth doesn’t take place in our comfort zones. Therefore, I’ll encourage you to embrace the discomfort. Feeling uncomfortable is only temporary! I promise!
You’ll come out the other side. The transformation WILL BE worth it! You’ll be stronger, more resilient, and more responsible for your destiny!
